Never let anyone tell you you can't, especially yourself!  This is how you follow your dreams

If you ever doubted yourself, felt like giving up or became tempted to throw away your dreams, this post is for you my friend.

Training with The ISA is about conditioning both MIND and BODY. Our programme puts a lot of focus on the empowerment, championing your inner-hero and helping you to overcome the barriers that have held you back. Especially the ones inside our own minds.  Often we talk to students or prospective ones and someone has told them they can't, or they shouldn't or its stupid, or risky, or they won't get anywhere, or they can't do it because it isn't for girls, or whatever.  Don't believe it ... confront it, change it! We'll show how
Are you holding yourself back from pursuing your dreams because you think there are too many barriers in your way? Do you feel like the odds are stacked against you, and there's no point in even trying?

It's understandable to feel discouraged when you're faced with challenges and obstacles, but it's important to remember that perceived barriers can be just that: perceived. They're not always real or insurmountable.

The danger of accepting perceived barriers is that they can become self-fulfilling prophecies. If you believe that you can't achieve your dreams because of your gender, race, socioeconomic status, or any other perceived barrier, you may give up before you even try. You may miss out on opportunities, experiences, and relationships that could help you succeed.

So how can you overcome perceived barriers and take positive action to follow your dreams in life? Here are some tips:
  1. Identify your barriers
Take a hard look at the barriers you perceive to be in your way. Are they real or imagined? Can you do anything to overcome them? Talking to a trusted friend or mentor can help you gain perspective and brainstorm solutions.
  2. Reframe your mindset
Instead of focusing on what you can't do, focus on what you can do. Celebrate your strengths and accomplishments, and use them as fuel to propel you forward.
  3. Seek out support
Surround yourself with people who believe in you and your dreams. Join a community of like-minded individuals who can offer advice, encouragement, and opportunities.
  4. Take small steps
You don't have to achieve your dreams overnight. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable steps, and celebrate each milestone you achieve.

Remember, the only real barrier to achieving your dreams is the one you create in your mind. By challenging your perceptions and taking positive action, you can overcome perceived barriers and create a future filled with endless possibilities. Don't let fear hold you back from pursuing the life you want.
