Our HQ is a purpose built Stunt Facility and Film Studio and a versatile location, situated in Norway and packed with professional people and equipment and always ready for Action! Here we house both our Commercial Production Unit, and our Training Academy. All based in the stunning surroundings of the Norwegian countryside. There is no real answer to that, it is a path you walk and a craft you will always be a student of. At The ISA our 1-year intensive Diploma is developed to give you the equivalent of around 3-4 years of the 'normal' experiences and training people would get if they didn't focus and condense it all into a single year, and that's delivered in a focused and purpose built environment which saves you flying around the world and trying to find and pay for it all.
When compared to someone starting out and sourcing training and experiences individually we believe, if you apply yourself and follow the training and guidance, you will get further along your path faster and the combinations of training and disciplines should make you a more confident, versatile and adaptable performer. Our programme is designed to assist you to graduate with a formal Diploma in our subject and field, feeling and being 'work ready', with many of the important and complimentary life skills professionals also need to do well in the industry and take care of mind, body and career. Some of our shorter courses can be completed in a few days, but those will only qualify you in smaller aspects of performance, not for a full career. Our Stunt Coordinator Educational and Assessment Programme takes 2 years. |

Yes and No ... you do not need any prior experience to join courses at The International Stunt Academy because The Academy offers courses and training packages for beginners through to advanced professionals. If you're asking for advanced courses or training we will check to see if this is suitable and advise you on the right course for you. To join our 1 year Diploma requires an audition / interview, and you need to demonstrate that you are physically and mentally ready to commit to the course. Learn more about the audition process here

To enroll in a course at International Stunt Academy, you need to be at least 18 years old and in good physical condition. You also need to have a passion for stunt performing and a willingness to learn.
We also offer camps, activities and courses for kids, like the Stunt Camp or Intro to Parkour. The age limit for these is 7 years upwards. |

Completing a course at International Stunt Academy does not guarantee jobs - no course can promise you this and we advise extreme caution if a course does make that promise.
Your training here should open up the opportunity to be able to take action orientated acting roles and stunt work, giving you a better career path and increased opportunities early in your career, which is important if you want to work professionally in the Performing Arts. The Industry relies upon independent performers and this means your success is driven by the work you put into your career. But we do train students to become 'Work Ready Experts' and teach you how to perform, how to build a professional profile, help you to develop all the materials you need for self promotion and instruct on how to maintain and develop your career. The Academy provides students with a network, skills, experience, and knowledge needed to pursue a career in stunt performing and action acting. Some graduates also go on to join our own Stunt Team. |
