The story of the International Stunt Academy began with John Smith Kabashi, a stunt performer, action actor, and film producer with a vision. He sought to further the wonderful world of Stunts through the development of revolutionary training methods and facilities, academic standards to create formal recognition of courses and fantastic partnerships so all this work would genuinely raise standards, quality and safety in the workplace. This led to the birth of The ISA. Fueled by his passion and determination, he founded the Academy as a beacon of knowledge and unity, where the best practices and techniques could be gathered, shared, and taught in a safe and supportive environment.

Since its inception, the International Stunt Academy has grown into a global family of heroes, each with their unique specialism and discipline, united in their mission to create a better future for the world of stunts.
