Like good Stunt Performers, great Stunt Coordinators are heroes of the entertainments industry and always in demand. But the path to being recognised as a capable Stunt Coordinator varies globally, and in many regions there is still a lack of standards or alignment. The ISA's mission is to raise and set standards and ensure quality in Stunts to help our industry deliver amazing and compelling action sequences that wow audiences, but also help to keep performers, crew and productions safe and successful.
Our new Stunt Coordinator course is now in pilot and when ready our aim is to deliver the most comprehensive Stunt Coordinator course in our industry, aligned to the highest industry standards. This 2-Year program, currently undergoing rigorous testing and accreditation, will assist working Stunt Professionals and Coordinators to become Fully Accredited Stunt Coordinators.
A Course Designed For The Industry, By The Industry
Designed by The ISA in partnership with leading Stunt Coordinators, Industry Experts and governing bodies from around the world, our course will be open to Industry Professionals with proven experience and ISA Diploma Graduates who wish to continue to develop their skills as they work. Through a mix of Practical work in the field, Assessments and ongoing study modules this course will become a stepping stone to becoming recognised as an Accredited Stunt Coordinator. From leading complex productions to innovating in action design, our curriculum covers every aspect required to excel in this exciting, challenging and diverse field of work.
