Course Overview
Day 1: Foundation & Safety

• Morning Session (09:30am - 12:00)
  • Weapon Briefing: Comprehensive introduction to firearms, their components, and safe handling.
• Afternoon Session (01:00pm - 05:00pm)
  • Dry Training: Learn the ISA method for safely drawing and holstering a pistol. Master basic stances and grips. Basic Movement Training: moving cover to cover and through various obstacles
    
    

Day 2

• Morning: Tactical Handling
  Tactical Training: Dive into the basics of tactical movement with a firearm. Learn to clear rooms, navigate obstacles, and properly use cover. The aim here is to drill on authenticity
  
• Afternoon: Putting It All Together
  Tactical Exercises: Engage in scenario-based training that incorporates everything you’ve learned.
  Airgun Session: Enjoy a 1.5-hour shooting session at our indoor range, using airguns for added safety and fun.

​About Our Training Firearms: 
We use training firearms designed for safe handling, giving you the confidence to learn without worry. This course does not utilise real weapons or ammunition.

At the ISA, we emphasise realistic training within the confines of strict safety guidelines, ensuring you walk away with skills that are both film-worthy and responsible.

• Course Fee: Euro 520 / Nok 6,000 / GBP 450
  (per person for 3 days including accommodation and local transfers to / from The ISA and the local rail station at Skarnes, 1hr from Oslo Airport)
• Accommodation: Onsite Accommodation is included, options for local hotels and luxury cabins.
• Food and drink: Not included. This course is delivered on a Self Catering basis unless arranged otherwise.

Terms & Conditions

General Provisions

1. Course Duration and Dates: The training will be conducted over a period of three days. Check with ISA for specific upcoming dates.
   
2. Training Methods: The course will be a blend of classroom lectures, hands-on exercises, and scenario-based training exercises.
   
3. Prerequisites: Participants should be in good physical condition to engage in moderate physical activities. Any medical conditions should be disclosed prior to starting the course.
   

Facilities & Equipment

1. Training Weapons: Training firearms and related equipment will be provided. All firearms are modified or purpose-built for training and are incapable of discharging live ammunition.
   
2. Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn during all training exercises involving firearms.
   
3. Facility Use: Includes access to ISA's indoor shooting range and classrooms.
   

Accommodations & Transportation

1. Accommodation: Options are available; please contact ISA for more details.
   
2. Transport: ISA will transport students to and from the designated training location.
   

Financial Terms

1. Course Fee: The fee covers the training, equipment rental, and facility use. Food and drinks are not included.
   
2. Damage: The course fee includes general wear and tear on the equipment. Any damage caused by negligence or failure to adhere to safety guidelines will result in additional charges.
   

Safety & Conduct

1. Safety Briefing: Attendance at the initial safety briefing is mandatory for participation in the course.
   
2. Compliance: All participants must adhere to the safety protocols and instructions given by the instructors at all times.
   
3. Termination: ISA reserves the right to terminate the training of any individual found in violation of safety protocols, without a refund.
   

Media Release

1. Filming: Participants will be filmed during the training for the purpose of creating a showreel. By attending the course, you consent to the recording and use of this footage by ISA.

Liability Waiver

1. Waiver: All participants are required to sign a liability waiver before the commencement of the course.
