The International Stunt Academy offers a rare opportunity for Film Makers, Directors, Camera Operators and Editors to join us for this very special 5-day Workshop, aimed at helping you to discover and learn the secrets and techniques of Action Film Making. We only run this course 2-3 times a year due to the instructor being in constant demand in Hollywood. This course is designed to help you discover a new style of Film Making and massively enhance your skills in crating compelling Action Sequences for Film & TV.  

Rustic Bodemov is one of Hollywood's leading Stunt Performers and Coordinators, specialised in Action Content for Film & TV. His credits include Stunt Doubling on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Black Panther 2, Wakanda Forever (Marvel Films) and many other major productions for Film & TV.

Rustic is flying in from LA to exclusively run his Action Film School at The International Stunt Academy in Norway. He is a specialist in the secret camera techniques and editing methods essential to Action Film Making, which is a unique subset of film making and has extensive experience in helping directors, DOP's and Editors to quickly master the techniques needed to greatly improve their action content, something that very few people outside of the Stunt industry understand or share. This is something you just can't learn elsewhere, even at leading Film Schools.

This course is a fantastic addition for anyone studying Film Making or wanting to improve their awareness and understanding of Action Content. It's also a very valuable course for anyone working within Stunts, Coordination and Fight Choreography. 

This course issues you with an ISA Certificate of Completion, a copy of The Rustic Bodemov Guide for Action Film Makers and you also get to meet and work for 1 week with the man himself.

Course Schedule (9am - 5pm with breaks for lunch and refreshments) 

​Day 1

• Introduction to Action Film Making and why it is such a unique Discipline
• Common flaws and faults in trying to create / direct / edit Action Content (that even the big studios make!)
• Problems solving techniques for on-set and in the edit-suite 

 Day 2

• 3 practical workshops exploring 3 different stunts / fight sequences and the best Shots, Placements and Camera Angles to use

Day 3

• Film making - shooting your own custom Stunt / Action content, working with Rustic and The ISA Professional Stunt Team
• Editing with Rustic in the ISA Mac Park

Day 4 + 5

• Secrets of Action Editing, screenings and the an final Q&A before wrap / departure

Accommodation @ The ISA:
Self Catering Accommodation is available at The ISA @ 350 Nok per night, per person. This is for a single room with own private wash room. Cooking can be done in a shared kitchen.

Public transport directly to the Academy is unavailable. Nearest Rail Station is Skarnes, taxi's are available. We can provide a pickup / drop off from the nearest station which must be booked in advance (400 NOK per person, each way). Safety First! Wire Work requires a mature and professional approach at all times. Unsafe behaviour or inability to follow procedure may result in you being unable to participate.
