Introduction to High Falls

Overview:
The ISA’s Introduction to High Falls course is designed to give you all the basic training and satefty training required before you go on a stepped journey exploring falls from different heights. Initially we start with 1m falls to perfect our stepping out and landing positions, then we graduate up through the levels until you’re ready to take on our 7m and 10m jump towers. At the end of the course you will be handed a Certificate of Competence from The ISA to demonstrate that you have completed training.

(Accommodation is available at the ISA or you are free to make your own arrangements with local hotels or AirBnBs)
Requirements:
This program is designed for anyone who wants to gain a solid understanding and working at height and how to safely complete different types of falls. Participants must be physically fit, free from spine pain / injuries and have a strong interest in expanding their skills, knowledge and physical abilities. If you have a fear of heights, we can help you with this but if you suffer extreme vertigo we recommend you work to overcome this before attempting this course.

Anyone serious about getting into the world of Professional Stunt Performance and a career in Action Acting for Film, TV, Gaming (Motion Capture) and Live Entertainments
Diploma level qualification. 60 ECTS Study points
An audition is required to join The ISA and upon acceptance we require a medical certificate from your Doctor stating you are fit to participate in strenuous activities. All international students must also provide travel insurance certificates to certify that they have medical cover during their stay. We are able to advise you on how to gain a Student Visa allowing you to live and study at the ISA for the year you are training with us.
NOK 110,000
Your course fee includes all essential classes equipment and materials required to participate in the course. Your course fee also enables you to enjoy 24/7 access to all our training and fitness facilities. Course fee does not include your own personal stunt protection equipment (pads, supports, etc) which you should purchase (we offer discounts from recommended providers), your accomodation / rent fee, food or optional trips and add ons. Upon payment we will issue you a list of recommended or essential items to pack for your studying year with us.
