Register for your Digital Audition for action actor qualification today

To secure your place on our Diploma Course in Stunt Performance and Action Acting you will first have to register for a Digital Audition.  If you haven't attended a Digital Audition before, relax, it is easy and all the information on what to do is below.

Step 1: 
Complete the Audition Application form and remember to include links to your Demo Reel, Self Tape or social profiles that contain content showing you in action. Don't be shy, this is a time to  show off your skills!

Step 2: 
One of our team will call you to book in your interview and answer any questions​

Step 3:
​After your interview you will get an answer to your application within 4 working days.
You then have 2 weeks to decide if you wish to accept your place.

If an applicant hasn't submitted a Self Tape or doesn't have content available to show their levels of fitness or abilities we may choose to offer a 'Conditional Place'. Applicants offered a Conditional Place must attend a Physical Audition at The ISA at the start of August, shortly before the 1st semester begins. Final decisions on conditional places will be given on the day.

Tips and advice to help you create your Demo Reel or 'self tape':

'Self Tapes' are an industry standard. They are video auditions that actors can make from home. Here are some helpful tips and step-by-step instructions for making your ISA Audition self-tape.

A self-tape is an audition video that any performer or actor can create. Typically, the performer will introduce themselves and then demonstrate their skills or act out part of a scene or monologue that is relevant to the part or role they hope to take on.

These help to replace the need for traditional physical auditions and speed up the process of searching for and identifying talent. Often people are asked to submit self-tapes for casting calls, ahead of final physical auditions. 

There are companies that will offer self-tape services but you can easily record your self-tape at home.  Self-tapes aren't testing your film-making and production skills, they are simply a quick capture of you and what you can do. 

Your ISA Audition Self Tape should be a quick presentation of you and include the following information:
  1. Your name, age, where you were born and where you live
  2. A very quick explanation of your work or study background
  3. Why you are motivated to apply to train and study at The International Stunt Academy?
  4. Why you think you'll be a team player and others will enjoy working with you?
  5. What you hope to achieve by studying with us. Is your goal to become a certified Action Actor? Do you want to be a stunt performer? Do you want to get into Live Action, Film, Mo-Cap?  Tell us about your dream as a professional performer.

Note: To support your Self Tape and application you can also send us links to separate videos or social pages that show us what you can do. You don't have to edit everything into a single video file.
